D14 worked with Escape Rooms Cheltenham to design and make some props for their "King's Quest" Room. A spellbook complete with hexes was made alongside a cauldron postitioned over a firepit.

Making it:

The Process:

-A bucket was surrounded by cardboard semicircles; expanding foam was sprayed between the slots to form a more solid structure.

-This was then covered with a layer of masking tape and painted to form the body of the cauldron.

-The lid was formed from slits of wood which were varnished and atached via a hinge.

-The hexes were laser-engraved onto the wooden book pages, which were bound to a handmade (faux-leather) book cover via needle and cord.

-The cover of the book was decorated with a 3d-printed pentagram and lettering
